Lotarn Limited was established in 1988 in St Asaph, North Wales, initially as a general precision engineering subcontractor. Through the 1990s the company invested heavily in CNC technology and began winning contracts for aerospace components — a sector that now accounts for more than 80% of turnover.
The company has grown steadily and deliberately, reinvesting in equipment, people and accreditations rather than chasing rapid expansion. Today Lotarn employs 48 people and operates from a 22,000 sq ft facility with dedicated areas for machining, assembly, surface treatment and inspection.
We remain privately held and independently managed, giving us the agility to respond quickly to customer requirements and the long-term perspective to invest in capability and relationships.
